Living Well with Diabetes
Living Well with Diabetes is designed to help people with type 2 diabetes learn how to live well. Topics include: techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress, depression, anger, fear and frustration; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength and endurance; healthy eating, appropriate use of medication; and working with healthcare providers.

This class is created in partnership with MaineGeneral's Peter Alfond Prevention & Healthy Living Center. This class meets in-person weekly for 6 sessions (please note there is no class on Wednesday, 11/24 due to the Thanksgiving holiday). Each class

is 2.5 hours and includes a 20 minute break. Class size is limited to 10 participants. Materials will be provided at the first class. Masks are required to enter the hospital and during the class.
